Project Engineer - Pipeline

Job Description
Enbridge Liquids Pipelines, Inc., a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering and processing, is currently seeking a Project Engineer, Piplines for our Bakken project located at our Superior, WI location.

Primary Focus

Project management responsibilities for new construction and pipeline enhancement in support of expansion activities throughout the U.S. Provides assistance as a technical resource to a project group for selected phases of major expansion, project design development, construction and operation.



Specific Accountabilities



Provides project management expertise to capital projects * responsible for scope / cost / schedule management within engineering procedures

Responsible for timely and accurate project reports for management and stakeholders

Provides input and conduct evaluations, justification, and feasibility of proposed projects. Provides assistance for preparation of scope of work, budget estimates, and AFE development, on projects of significant magnitude.

Provides direction to ensure detailed designs, compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. May review work of designers to ensure completeness and accuracy of drawings. Ensure Operations needs are met in project design.

Provides direction to specify material and equipment for projects.

Provides direction for preparation of contract documents and specifications.

Provides oversight to construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and contract documents. May coordinate construction with Operations activities during tie-ins.

Promote and enforce Company safety policies with contractors to ensure projects are completed at or within departmental ARTS.

Provides direction for the organization of as-built, completions reports, DOT files and documentation and ensure project checklists are complete at the end of the job.

Other related duties as requested by the Supervisor.

May provide mentoring to junior staff.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited University.

Certified project management training or PMP designation desirable

Eligibility for registration as P.E. / P.Eng. Desirable.

2 * 10 years post graduate experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
