Responsible for the entire design/procurement/fabrication/installation cycle in the production of deepwater subsea structures such as PLETs, PLEMs, Manifolds, Jumpers, Suction Anchors, SEPLA anchors, and shallow foundations. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to interface with clients, vendors, manufacturers, inspectors and design engineers. Candidate will review client supplied design requirements/data, conduct design reviews, prepare material, fabrication, & installation specifications, assist in preparing bid & tendering packages, track project schedule & budget, and respond to non-conformance reports & site-queries.

Job Requirements:
A minimum of 9 years of deepwater offshore oil & gas industry experience and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, ocean or aerospace from an accredited university are required. Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a project engineer.

Solid background in structural and mechanical engineering. A working knowledge of welding, materials, corrosion protection, pipeline installation, and other issues pertinent to subsea structures is required. Candidate should be familiar with industry codes and standards such as API RP 2A, API RP 2SK, API 1111, API 1104, AISC WSD/LRFD, DNV RP C203, DNV 30.4, DNV-OS-C101, DNV RP F105, ASME B31.8, ASME BPVC, and AWS D1.1. Texas professional Engineering registration is a plus. Candidates with prior project management training and experience are preferred.
