D3 seeks a Project Engineering Manager to join our exciting and rapidly growing company.
Project Engineering Manager
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management and coordination of scope of projects. This person will oversee the entire job process, starting from site surveys, to contract/submittal of drawings, to installation and final acceptance.:
Job Responsibilities:
Provide regular management reports on project progress and activity.
Work with Sales & Engineering department in estimating costs for project.
Ensure project documentation is complete and current.
Coordinate installation of displays and systems on-site.
Perform site surveys to understand job requirements, specifications & scope of work.
Fully understand appropriate building codes, permits and specifications required.
Schedule project timeline and supervise D3 staff and third party vendor and contractor performance.
Work with Supply Chain Manager and Production Manager to create detailed BOM's for production.
Meet with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems or issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Management.
Microsoft Project experience required.
Electrical and Construction experience a plus.
Able to work on own and be a self-starter.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Will be required to present both in-house and at executive client level.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Travel required.
Interact with sign companies and vendors through installation.
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
Able to professionally represent D3 LED while working with customers and vendors.
