In this role, you will be responsible for managing Manufacturing Capability studies for the Plateline, Manifold, Component, and HR assembly value streams within the Milton facility. This includes strategy, methodology, execution, GANTT Tracking, test development, metrology assessment, data analysis and presentation of the studies. It may require project management of several studies at one time, coordination with value stream leaders, schedulers and managers for timely execution, communication globally to other manufacturing sites, recommendations to leadership and presentation of results. Focus will initially be on studies relating to prioritized Hot Runner Idealized Attributes and processes supporting the same, but may include any critical processes supporting product quality. At times, you will be required to provide consultative support to the supply chain team or directly with suppliers as part of the overall drive to understand and improve our manufacturing capability.




The ideal individual for this role has an innate curiosity about our manufacturing processes and never rests until he/she understands what is truly driving a particular result or finding. Key requirements for success in this role are the ability to function independently and coordinate large efforts in more than one location, the ability to analyze data statistically, understand proper inspection/measurement techniques, summarize and present findings clearly and to communicate effectively. You will work with plant managers, manufacturing leadership, development engineering, quality analysts and technicians. Other qualifications include Six Sigma Skills (Greenbelt / Blackbelt preferred), Minitab, Excel and PowerPoint skills, manufacturing knowledge and a demonstrated ability to work with individuals in a wide range of roles at multiple levels of the organization.
