Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. This is a direct, full time position with our company, working onsite with our federal client in Aberdeen, MD.

Position Summary:

The successful curriculum developer will provides project supervision and management for major program activities. They will manage and direct technical project/program personnel to ensure objectives are met with top quality and levels of performance, oversee large projects involving multifunctional tasking and substantial complexity, plan and supervise major system life cycle support tasks/functions including requirements definition, acquisition, integration, test and evaluation, fielding/installation, and disposition.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Coordinate with Prime and mange Prime/Subcontractor team to provide support to the Product Director Global Positioning System (PD GPS) and Product Manager Navigation Systems (PM NAVSYS)
Manage team of approximately 30 personnel in multiple locations responsible for total package fielding, new equipment training, engineering, logistics, GPS product databases and reporting and tracking systems, test and evaluation (T&E), contract data requirements list (CDRL) review, hardware and software validation support, hardware to platform field integration support, to include field demonstrations of GPS products, and Working Groups, website and knowledge management support, administration, security, contract administration, oversight and preparation and purchases to support GPS missions
Act as POC for PD GPS and PM NAVSYS for support functions related to their DoD acquisition management mission
Manage all contractual deliverables
Experience with Federal contracting processes (required)
Demonstrated ability to write well and adapt information into required formats for documents
Demonstrated customer relationship management, skills


Education, Experience and Skills:



Bachelor’s degree
Ten (10) years experience in supporting DoD acquisition programs
Understanding of the roles assigned to PEOs, PD, and PMs within the DoD Acquisition framework
Understanding of the requirements of DoD 5000 series as they pertain to DoD Acquisition Programs
Working understanding of GPS technologies
Working understanding of DoD C4ISR systems
Working understanding of Army Acquisition Command organizationActive Secret Clearance
