| Job Description | Summary
The person in this position will work with our multi-disciplinary project teams providing project management and related technical expertise. This individual will play a significant role in the day-to-day project management activities including the following: proposal writing and cost estimates; development of work scopes and budgets; project execution and monitoring; building project teams; overseeing financial performance on projects; and client communication. Projects will focus on engineering and design as well as construction related services for major heavy industrial clients including refineries, power plants and mining facilities. This work may at times involve short-term, out-of-town assignments.
NOTE:Some work locations may feature rough terrain typical of industrial sites and may also require entering and working within facilities that include limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilities. Safety training will be provided for work in these areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical engineering or related field.
7 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated project organization and management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients.
Willingness to work cooperatively in a project team environment that encourages self-initiative.
Effectiveness in building working relationships and working in multi-disciplined project teams.
Flexible working style as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs.
Acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of related experience.
Aptitude for developing client relationships and business.
Project management and leadership experience with large complex projects. |
