| Job Description | We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong history of design control to participate in the daily operations of a dynamic project management team in the medical and dental manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, determined and energetic.
Job Duties:
· Manages projects by developing schedules, criteria, and facilitating between departments.
· Monitors and assumes responsibility for the overall quality and management of multiple projects.
· Reviews project proposals to determine goals, timelines, costs, funding, staffing and resource requirements for each phase of the project.
· Assist in developing Project Teams; continuously evaluates departmental structure and resource allocation to effect best outcome
· Develops and implements strategic objectives; uses objectives to establish functional work plans
· Collaborates with various departments in all aspects of the project management cycle.
· Ensures projects are managed in accordance with established Quality Assurance procedures
Skills Required:
· Implementation oriented. Ability to push projects through to completion.
· General manufacturing, material, quality engineering knowledge is required. Understanding of production processes and techniques including lean manufacturing is preferred.
· Knowledge of best practices in project management.
· Ability to analyze and synthesize information in a concise manner.
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to communicate complex information to various different departments companywide.
· Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Ability to identify and solve complex problems, including conflict resolution.
· Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 standards required.
· FDA 21 CFR 820 design control knowledge.
Experience/Schooling or Degree Required:
· 5 years+ in a project manager role
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Business
· CAPM or PMP certification preferred. |
