Purchasing Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to provide both operational and purchasing support for management at our Claymont, Delaware location.

This person will manage procurement of materials, components, supplies and services essential to company operations.

This person will also drive cost reductions through effective sourcing, contract administration, standardization of materials and value analysis, as well as, establish long-term procurement strategies to assure continuous supply and timely procurement of materials.


BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

5-7 years experience in purchasing function, preferably in manufacturing.

Experienced with Best Management Practices of Purchasing, including negotiating, contracting and supplier management.

Experience with ERP & Oracle Financial systems is preferred.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Previous management/leadership experience is required.

Ability to work with tight deadlines.
