Description
As the Quality Supervisor, you will be asked to develop and maintain the quality system for new and existing products. The Quality engineer will also bas asked to actively participate on product and process development projects and programs. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical support to product engineering, marketing and the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:

Provide training and technical assistance in SPC techniques, interpreting and evaluating data, quality standards and specifications, to all internal departments and suppliers when appropriate.

Review existing SOP’s and develop new SOP’s to emphasize defect prevention techniques. Train effected employees.

Assist Manufacturing in root cause analysis of production problems.

Participate in new process introductions and approvals.

Utilizing data from notice of complaints (NOC’s), assist in developing prevention options with Manufacturing.

Assist in development and maintenance of appropriate documentation for Quality Manual to satisfy needs of Anheuser-Busch, Coke Phase III and ISO9002 Standards.

Supervise internal auditors and audit process.

Support and assist the Q.A. Manager in the administration of the Quality Dept.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Physical Science/Chemistry/Engineering or similar and 3 year’s experience in an industrial or manufacturing plant.



The candidate should have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills as well as a working knowledge of Q.E. principles (ie

Statistics, FMEA, DOE, Auditing, Sampling Plans etc.).



Certification is desireable but not required.



Overtime may be required.
