Description

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Minimum 4-year technical degree required
-3-5 years automotive assembly experience, preferably Module assembly experience
-Quality Control management experience
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Supplier Quality Control experience
-Ability to lead large teams of various levels of quality team members
-Able to represent Mobis Georgia in a professional manner
-Previous automotive tool usage experience preferred ( recreational or professional )
-Previous training in problem solving preferred ( Root cause, 5Y etc)
-Experience in modern Quality Principles and Applications
-ASQ certification a plus
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
1.1.Knowledge of safety equipment in order to know what to wear during certain tasks to prevent safety issues
2.Manage all aspects of Quality Control organization including process QC, process inspection, supplier QC and OEM activities
2.1.Overall QC inspection management and improvement activities
2.2.Overall supplier QC management and improvement activities
3.As a Quality Team Member help prevent OEM down time due to repair or exchange of parts
4.Understand the OEM assembly process related to Mobis Georgia modules
5.Understanding of module function ( Chassis, Cockpit, FEM, Bumper )
6.Practice 5S in the assigned work area. Keep the work stations, tools and gauges clean and organized
7.Continuous application of education material
8.Must provide daily written reports to the Mobis Quality Team as requested by Management
9.Participate as a part of the Quality Team; Teamwork is essential
10.Participate (at times lead) in cross functional teams for various issues that impact aspects of the Quality System
11.Analyze and review data for KMMG MOBIS inline downtime claims to include creating reports, invoices and accounting documents.
12.Analyze and review data for CKD defect parts claim to include creating reports, register to ERP system, and accounting documents.
13.Coordinate with MOBIS departments on root cause and corrective action as it relates to supplier scorecard (PPM, downtime, responsiveness).
14.Create and review reports daily weekly and / or monthly for defect analysis report of all lines
15.Management involvement of Continuous Improvement Suggestion System and create an atmosphere to promote continuous improvement
16.Other duties as required
