SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Drive continual improvement through data collection and analysis, project selection, corrective and preventive actions, documenting processes and changes and educating affected personnel
Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects
Assure internal and external requirements are met within the framework of our ISO 9001QMS system
Plan and direct quality activities for incoming, in process, outgoing and new product development
Ensure nonconforming product is documented on a real time basis and issues are communicated in a timely manner to drive for resolution
Document processes and techniques and make changes to them through the document control system
Ensure quality practices are in compliance within controlled documentation
Ensure quality records are orderly and accessible
EDUCATION:
Degree in Engineering or related discipline
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in one or more related engineering areas such as industrial, production, reliability or design
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
SKILLS NEEDED:
Prepare management level presentations
Skilled in Advanced Quality tools such as Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), GD&T, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and Mistake Proofing/Poke-a yoke
Skilled in computer applications including Microsoft office and statistical packages
Ability to identify problems or technical issues and apply sound judgment
Proactive ability to take initiative in suggesting process improvements
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and managers
Demonstrated ability to assist Quality personnel in solving problems
Ability to be accurate and detail-oriented and follow through assignments to completion.
Ability to work in a diverse cultural environment.
HOURS:
Must be available for the following shift:
First Shift (7:30AM – 4:00 PM)
