Responsibilities will include but not be limited to providing leadership and support for the development and implementation for company quality policies and procedures. Responsible for improving quality and integrity of the product. Ability to understand and solve corrective actions from field issues. Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate quality and issue resolution
Problem solving – identify, contain and solve. Weekly/Quarterly/Daily metrics
Production Support
Responsible for rework on units put on hold.
Designs, implements and evaluates control methods and systems.
Qualifications:
5+ years Quality Engineering Experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelors Degree – (Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing) Masters Preferred
AS/400, MS Office, MiniTab and AutoCad experience
Excellent communication skills. Ability to interface with manufacturing, customer and engineering
Understanding of statistics
Six Sigma Certification preferred
Evaluate manufacturing processes and uses engineering skills to improve processes to reduce process cycle time and cost.
Ensures processes produce a consistent quality product.
Drive quality improvements using solid engineering tools such as SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC problem solving and report on monthly status as necessary. |
