Job Description | Princeton Lightwave is a leading provider of short wave infrared imaging, spectroscopy, sensing and telecommunication solutions. Our product space spans 3D LIDAR and low light level imaging cameras, range-finders, single photon sensitive avalanche photo-detectors, spectroscopy sensors, super-luminescent diodes and high power lasers.

We have openings for engineers with excellent circuit and hardware development skills. Responsibilities span design and product development for our near-infrared detector, laser and imaging product lines.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:
?5+ years of successful high frequency (RF) analog and digital hardware design.
?Experience with RF design, simulation, analysis and measurement tools.
?Schematic capture and PCB layout using Orcad/Cadence design tools.
?RF Mechanical design using SolidWorks, ProE, or AutoCAD.
?Experience with optoelectronic communication and instrumentation systems.
?Real-time implementation and trouble shooting skills.
?Excellent documentation, data analysis and communication skills.
?Ability to perform as a development project owner, coordinating all activities required for the design and development of new products.
?Ability to work in cross-functional teams, coordinate and support manufacturing transitions, and work with suppliers and customers.
?Experience in near-infrared optics, imaging and instrumentation technologies is a plus.
?B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred. |
