Performs duties in support of a full-cycle recruitment and selection process.
Specific Duties:
Participate in Recruiting Strategy Agreement meetings and document the strategies set forth during those meetings for each new position Dart sets out to fill
Screen profiles/resumes and make recommendations in accordance with the Recruiting Strategy Agreement
Schedule candidates for phone, video, and on-site interviews with Recruiters and Hiring Managers
Conduct telephone interviews for all positions assigned by the Manager or Recruiter
Conduct reference checks when appropriate or when asked by the Recruiter or Recruiting Manager
Process background checks and update the candidate's record as appropriate
Serve as the Employment Services primary contact for applicants seeking information about his/her status and/or Recruiter/Recruiting Manager seeking information about his/her candidates
Coordinate on-campus interviews
Coordinate and attend career fairs, including ordering giveaways, preparing position lists, making travel arrangements and gathering material being taken to the fair
Actively search for new and improved ways to source candidates for open positions
Monitor the candidate flow for assigned positions and make recommendations on how to improve the response rate
Proactively work with recruiting agencies by developing relationships, organizing contracts, and providing position specific information regarding an opening
Identify obstacles in the recruiting and selection process and make recommendations to improve the process
Meet with Hiring Supervisors to tour work areas where a new hire will work
Coordinate the development of advertising for print
Assist with the coordination of Workplace Partners
Coordinate and lead the 1st day orientation and 3-day orientation sessions
Act as the primary telephone back-up for the Recruiter and Recruiting Manager by answering caller questions, act as a gatekeeper, or direct the caller to the most appropriate person to handle the call
Act as the primary telephone back-up for fellow Recruiting Coordinators and handle any questions within the area of responsibility for this position
Attend formal training when necessary for OFCCP, EEO, FMLA,and other related training
Serve as back-up for scheduling tests, interviews, and administering tests
Requirements and Qualifications:
High School diploma or G.E.D. required; college course work toward an Associates Degree preferred
1 year previous experience working in a customer service capacity with internal customers
Ability to take direction from multiple team members
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication, including pleasant phone demeanor
Ability to be a team player, including constant interaction with members of the
Employment Services support staff, the Recruiters, and EEO team
Proven ability to organize own work load
Proven analytical problem solver
Computer experience using Microsoft Word and Excel through course work or on-the-job experience
Proven ability to use the Internet to research projects
Proven ability to adjust work schedule as appropriate to accommodate time-sensitive requests
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once
Experience using social media; experience with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn preferred |
