Job Description:
Territory is the Rocky Mountains states (ID, MT, WY, CO, UT, NM and possibly WA, OR or AZ)

PURPOSE - The SDBC Region Manager in DSD is charged with delivering SDBC volume and profit goals through effective management of internal and external sales resources, business partners and personal selling effort through a primarily DSD route-to-market across all channels of trade.

Manage trade spending to maximize effectiveness and accomplish individual brand objectives. To find common ground between SDBC objectives and customer priorities while executing customer level business plans and achieving merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS) objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Deliver volume and sales objectives in personal accounts
2) Train, lead and motivate Bottlers & Distributors (Brokers where utilized) to achieve volume and sales goals
3) Conduct strategic planning of trade funds to achieve volume and profit objectives
4) Translate company goals/objectives into customer specific business plans
5) Manage the field finance system to insure trade spending and promotional activities are within budget and accurately reflected at all times
6) Insure effective communications and adherence to company policies with SDBC management, Brokers/Bottlers/Distributors & with our Customers
7) Develop business relationships with key customer personnel through execution of mutually beneficial business plans and consistent account penetration
8) Control sales and office expense within assigned budgets

Common Activities:
1) Execute trade programs with Brokers, Bottlers and Distributors to achieve targeted volume and brand development through specific non-supermarket trade channels
2) Develop tactical execution plans for specific accounts / markets with key Broker, Bottler and Distributor executives
3) Develop business relationships with personnel at key accounts
4) Manage Brokers, Bottler & Distributor supervisory personnel to achieve retail sales objectives
5) Execute Company policies relating to the sale and merchandising of SDBC products
6) Train Broker, Bottler and Distributor headquarters and retail personnel to sell Sunny Delight products through ongoing retail meeting attendance and management meetings
7) Manage Expenses

1) Meeting sales objectives
Achievement of volume targets within approved spending limits
Development and implementation of sound customer business plans
Increased sales through improved merchandising, product assortment, retail pricing and shelf placement
Effectiveness of external partner resources (Broker, Bottler & Distributor) through plan execution
Financial management (maintenance of spending budgets, deduction management)
