We are looking for a Research Associate in our Metabolic Disease Group. This person will work with other Research Associates under the direction of a Scientist in:
- the dosing of animals with test agents
- perform tissue culture work and in vitro experiments
- help conduct routine Western blot, ELISA, and other biochemical assays for Muscle & Metabolic Disorders related projects
- be responsible for entering, analyzing and graphing data associated with these assays
Experience:
Experience:
This position requires a BS and 2-5 years experience or an MS and 0-3 years experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
- in vivo experience in mice (required)
- cell culture experience and basic molecular techniques including western blot (highly
preferred)
- a background in metabolic disease (preferred but not necessary)
- well-established organizational skills (required)
