Job Summary and Essential Functions:

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Research Associate to join the Bispecific Antibodies Group. This position will support development of immune modulating bispecific antibodies within a larger team responsible for novel therapeutic molecule development and target discovery research across multiple therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cellular immunology and extensive experience with primary cell-based assays, including cell proliferation and cytoxicity, cytokine measurements, and multicolor FACS. Some experience with animal handling and performing in vivo animal studies would be an advantage but is not a requirement. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to work independently to design and troubleshoot experiements.

Responsibilities:
-Cell based immunoassays with human, mouse and non-human primate blood and primary cells (MLR, cytotoxicity, phagocytosis, proliferation).
-Multi-color and intracellular flow cytometery, and data analysis using FlowJo software.
-Tissue culture.
-ELISA and MSD immunoassays.
-Data analysis (Excel, Prism, FlowJo) and presentation.


Experience and Required Skills:
Requirements:
BS or MS in the areas of Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemsitry or related field, with a minimum of 5 years (BS) , or MS with a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate working experience.
-Excellent knowledge of multi-color and intracellular flow cytometry, and data analysis using FlowJo software.
-Strong proficiency in the development and execution of cell based assays for immune cell function (MLR, T-cell proliferation, cytokine release, and cytotoxicty assays) with mouse and human primary cells (experience with non-human primate cells a plus).
-Experience with animal handling and in vivo autoimmune disease models is desireable.
-Experience with immunoassays (ELISA, ELISpot, MSD)
-General computer (Excel file, statistics, graphing) and data reporting/presentations skills are necessary..
