| Job Description | Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biochemistry or related scientific discipline
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in biopharmaceutical development, industry experience preferred
Experience with chromatographic purification and ultrafiltration of recombinant proteins
Analytical skills with knowledge of ELISA, HPLC, electrophoresis and spectrophotometric methods
Good laboratory documentation practices for materials, samples, and lab notebook
Ability to effectively summarize lab studies in technical reports
Good interpersonal and communication skills
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing and conducting experimental (scale-down) studies to evaluate variables in protein purification operations
Providing analytical testing to characterize process or product impurities
Documenting observations, analyzing data and reporting results and conclusions for each experimental study
Supporting GMP manufacturing through process investigations, as needed
