The Protein Development Group is seeking an individual for a position in the Therapeutic Proteins Department to engage in small-scale purification, and biochemical characterization of protein reagents in support of the company's Veloclmmune fully human antibody pipeline. This position will be primarily focused on the expression, purification and refolding of proteins from E. coli systems to generate hard to express reagents.
Experience:
The candidates should posses a strong fundamental understanding of protein chemistry and have at least 2 years laboratory experience. Experience should include:
-E.coli expression, refolding, and purification
-Affinity, IEX, SEC, Hydrophobic Chromatography
-HPLC Reverse Phase
-SDS PAGE electrophoresis
-Western-blotting
-Spectrophotometry
-General Lab support Notebook, power point presentations of Data
-Must be able to work productively in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
-Excellent communication skills are essential
