Responsibilities:

We have an immediate career opportunity as a Research Mechanical Engineer in our
Racine, WI facility.

The individual in this position is a globally-recognized expert in wall mounted and portable dilution control equipment. The individual leads and guides activities, with internal and external partners, surrounding design, performance, maintenance and continuous improvement of dilution equipment, to enhance and maintain Diversey's position as industry leader in dispensing equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
?Collaborate with internal & external partners to develop creative solutions for persistent technical issues. Provide support to cross-functional teams by proving concepts, testing for durability and compatibility, and ensuring manufacturability, simplicity, performance, and quality.
?Guide and cooperate with national/local plumbing and health inspectors to ensure that Diversey equipment is safe and legal for use. Meet with and/or present to plumbing and health officials the benefits of Diversey equipment and built-in safety and backflow prevention features.
?Interface with third party suppliers to create/validate equipment drawing packages / specifications. Manage internal ECN process for system upgrades, including documentation.
?Lead technical training for customers and internal Customer Support, as well as Marketing, RD&E and other colleagues. Support cross-functional and multi-regional teams on equipment projects, providing technical data and support for launch and on-going specifications. Specific accountabilities may include providing guidance on manufacturability, performance, quality and sustainability related to Diversey equipment.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
?Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
?Minimum 5 years work experience as a mechanical engineer for a manufacturer

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
?Professional Engineer certification is a plus.
?SolidWorks 3D CAD required.
?Specific experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the areas of plastic injection molding, materials selection, fluid dynamics, chemical dispensing machine design and construction
?Direct experience and/or knowledge of plumbing codes, or previous work with inspection or licensing agencies is a plus.
