Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist, Translational Sciences

The individual will be primarily responsible for clinical sample handling/tracking and the implementation of pharmacodynamic (PD) and biomarker assays in support of human clinical trials.

Job Responsibilities
•Working with the Discovery Biology and Clinical Development groups, the individual will be involved in the implementation of PD and biomarker assays of target engagement and downstream effect for clinical programs.
•Adaptation of assays developed in preclinical groups into clinical formats with acceptable quality and reproducibility.
•Incorporation of assays into clinical trials as well as acquisition, analysis and interpretation of the data, including logistics of patient sample receiving, processing and documentation.

Minimum Requirements
•BS/MS in Biology or a related discipline
•Minimum of 5 years of broad laboratory experience
•Strong organizational skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
•Ease with working in an open and collaborative environment across functional groups
•Proven experience and strong technical skills in clinical PD/biomarker studies are preferred.
