Position Responsibilities:
Robot programming: Parametric, arc welding, spot welding, and material handling using various gripper configurations.
Customer service: Providing timely repair and/or improvised solutions with clear explanations. Providing preventative maintenance and spare parts needs and addressing actual customer concerns.
Directing others on installation projects. Establishing and providing standards for programming and development.
Working with engineering to improve system design and resolve issues.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Fanuc robot controls; recent Fanuc robot experience is required
Keen understanding of technical data and highly developed organizational skills.
Understanding of PLC/ladder logic is required
Troubleshooting skills: Robot-equipment and I/O interfacing including CNC machines, DeviceNet, PLC units, arc-welding equipment, EOAT, pneumatic systems, torch cleaning stations, etc.
Familiar with material handling functionality software (Fanuc Robots) strongly preferred
Ability to manipulate electrical drawings in AutoCAD strongly preferred
College degree preferred, but not required
Ability to set tool center points
Thorough knowledge of several forms of palletizing applications
Ability to follow standard concepts and work within a team environment
Travel 50% primarily to customer sites
