Job Description | We are looking for a highly motivated sales engineer to join our team as Account Manager and your primary mission will be focused on proactively identifying, developing and driving new business opportunities, with new and existing customers, contacting them to discover opportunities and using incoming lead qualification and quotation follow-up techniques, in your assigned region. Your ability to build strong customer relationships will be crucial. You will have a demonstrated ability to penetrate large accounts and have a successful track record. You will be a self-starter who employs the industry’s best practices for selling, negotiating and influencing, such as Strategic Selling. In this role, you will work constructively with the Vitrocom’s executive management, operations, engineering and product management to grow the business.
You must have experience in glass optics, substrates and capillary tubing products sales and know who is who in optics markets (telecom, commercial lasers, surveying optics, Medical, etc.). You optics knowledge must span custom glass optics and crystal optics.
Take ownership of the Annual Sales Plan and meet the quarterly targets.
BS Degree or MS Degree in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. At least 5 years of sales management experience in the optics industry is required.
