Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for an Immunoassay Scientist to support our Professional Scientific Services group in Thousand Oaks, CA.
• Perform and troubleshoot ELISA assays that support process development of protein therapeutics
• Perform Western Blot analysis to characterize reagents and samples.
• Qualify ELISA methods (e.g. accuracy, precision experiments) per ICH Guidelines.
• Analyze and clearly document experiments in Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Evaluate process improvements such as changes in equipment or reagents.
The ideal candidate would possess:
• Experience with ELISA and Western blot techniques.
• Previous experience with Tecan Evo, or similar automation.
• Excellent pipetting skills.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a larger immunoassay team.
• Desire to learn new techniques and multi-task with clients.
• Experience with protein therapeutic process development.
Requirements
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
• B.S. or M.S. with 0-4 years experience, with degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Immunology or Life Sciences. Biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. |
