SILVER LAKE RESEARCH, located in Azusa, California, is a leading developer and manufacturer of novel antibodies, immunoassays, and diagnostic test kits for a variety of applications. The Company’s core technology, the EAP System, is a proprietary immunization system which allows the generation of high-affinity MAbs for the most difficult, non-immunogenic targets. SLRC has a current opportunity for a Scientist in our Antibody Development team. This position centers on the generation of new monoclonal antibodies for multiple target types and applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Project management of new MAb generation
• Immunoassay design and development
• Working closely with the other members of the R&D team, the Production team, and the Process Development team.
• Performing SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Blots, other assays.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 yrs hands-on experience with antibodies and immunoassays
• Familiarity with GLP/GMP
• PhD preferred
• Management experience preferred

Skills:

• Expertise in cell / tissue culture
• ELISA and similar assays
• Setting up automated assay platforms and robotics
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
