The Scientist will help to realize the experimental requirements of Intrexon’s commercial divisions by utilizing a wide array of molecular and cell-based techniques ranging from low to high-throughput.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement HTS screening assays that will have the capability and capacity to support multiple, ongoing orthogonal projects.
• Be a key member of the team that will support all of ADSO’s development and screening activities, encompassing a broad range of mammalian cell hosts, transcript-, protein- and enzyme-based approaches for expression and activity screening.
• Develop, validate and implement customized secondary assays for candidate characterization.
• Partner with ADSO key stakeholders, including the bio-informatics and Intrexon’s commercial divisions, to develop and implement customized HTS and secondary assays that will create high value commercial products.
• Work closely with external collaboration partners as applicable to support technology transfer and collaborative projects.
