The Senior Accountant will be responsible for general ledger processing and preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP. In this position you will assist with quarterly auditor reviews and the annual audit. The Senior Accountant will have an active role in the maintenance of a sound internal control system and the management of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. You will provide analytical support to other departments; produce month end closing entries; prepare account reconciliations at month end; assist with the Annual Operating Plan preparation and analysis; provide ongoing analysis and tracking of actual results to the Operating Plan.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance. CPA desirable. Minimum of three years experience in Accounting or Finance. Demonstrated understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); proven ability to analyze and interpret records, statements and reports; ability to interact with company management; established ability to accurately work with numbers giving a high level of attention to detail.
