Our Data Delivery business unit of the IT Data, Analytics & Reporting group is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a Senior Cognos Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering complete IT solutions using Cognos tools. This position will develop and maintain OLAP cubes, frameworks and reports as well as ad hoc reports from data warehouses using Cognos. Your primary measure of success will be on how you effectively partner with business stakeholders, data analysts and database analysts to provide enterprise infrastructure to deliver analytics and reporting.
To Qualify: the ideal candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business and have at least six (6) years of Cognos experience. This experience should result in the incumbent being and expert on Cognos 10.1 tools and a strong working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and data modeling. Skills such as: manage projects, build and maintain relationships, quickly earn credibility and the ability to translate ideas into positive organizational change are necessary for success in this role. The incumbent must have the ability to develop and present complex material effectively to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences. |
