Job Description
Overview:
The Senior, Companion Diagnostics will manage the development of early and late stage co-diagnostic assays, contribute to molecular characterizations of targets and correlative markers through all stages of development.
Individual responsibilities include:
•Manage development of early and late stage co-diagnostic assays, including strategy and laboratory processes, both internal and through partners.
•Contribute to molecular characterizations of targets and correlative markers through all stages of development.
•Establish strong partnerships with medical and Assay thought leaders, investigators/authors, and internal cross – functional stake holders.
•Accountable for meeting time lines and working closely with all key – stakeholders to ensure expert input and overall quality of target detection and characterization.
Required Skills:
•Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
•Excellent people and team management required.
•Medical writing, publication planning and project management experience
Education/Experience:
•5-10 years of relevant experience – preferably in a commercial biotech or specialty pharma.
•Proven ability to support cross functional teams including medical, clinical research and commercial.
•History of developing diagnostics.
•PhD/M.D. preferred.
