| Job Description |  This candidate will become a member the Systems Engineering staff reporting to the Function Line Manager of Systems Engineering and providing direct support to one or more in-house sensor programs.
  
 The Systems Engineering Group is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with a background in Guidance, Navigation and Control to help in the design, analysis and testing of state of the art airborne RECCE imaging sensors. 
 
 These sensor systems utilize highly accurate control systems in order to isolate the imaging cameras from airplane motions, plus for pointing to imaging targets as well as obtaining geolocation information. 
 The individual will join an experienced interdisciplinary team of engineers working in a collaborative environment, with the responsibility of developing navigation and control systems. 
 
 Responsibilities include: 
 - Generate specifications and analysis for control systems 
 - Support software and hardware development and final laboratory testing 
 - The Candidate should ideally have experience with modeling control systems in MATLAB/Simulink, as well as knowledge of IMU Gyros and INS/GPS systems 
 - Develop detailed test plans including requirements verification and validation.
 
 Bachelors degree in Control Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with 6-10+ years Control Systems experience
 Master's degree in Control Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with 4-7+ years Control Systems experience 
 PhD in Control Engineering with 2-4+ years Control Systems experience is highly preferred. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in complex systems development and sustaining practices.

 - 10-20% travel required 
 - U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain a security clearance

 Industry Experience  Aerospace
 
 Skill sets - Classical control, Modern control, Modeling, estimation / Kalman filtering
