Job Description | Job Description Experience with corrosive refinery services and familiarity with welding processes, welding procedures, NDE, and ASME fabrication codes for equipment in high criticality service is required. The candidate shall have a track record in providing metallurgical, corrosion, welding and NDE recommendations for refinery unit processes and chemical plant projects. Recent experience with material selection for grass root refinery projects including heavy wall high temperature high pressure hydrogen units is required. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be computer literate and comfortable working with and developing database and MS Office based applications . Candidate shall be experienced in developing and presenting technical publications covering topics at the forefront of the latest technology in materials and welding.
Basic Job Requirements This position requires a degree in Metallurgical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years direct experience in refinery material selection and welding engineering. Advanced degree in Metallurgy or Welding Engineering is preferred.
Candidate must be a registered professional engineer.
