| Job Description | BANC3, Inc. is a dynamically growing defense contractor providing Product Research/Development and Information Technology services to primarily DOD and other government agencies. BANC3 currently holds a number of multi-year prime government contracts.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Electro-Optic Scientist will assist the company and its clients in developing, strategically assessing, and introducing state-of-the-art military electro-optical technologies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors in Engineering, Physics, or related field from an accredited school and DOD experience to successfully perform the job duties.
· At least 5-10+ years of experience in Electro-optics development with at least 5 years of experience in positions with hands on technical leadership such as Technical Lead, Senior Scientist/Engineer, or Program Manager.
· Proven experience in building, developing, and managing technical teams. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Must demonstrate direct leadership and engineering experience with electro-optical systems, sensor technology, optical design, imaging, software development, embedded electronics, and mechanical design/fabrication.
· Must have electro-optical weapon systems development experience and be skilled in developing and working with ruggedized embedded systems.
· Experience in performance testing of electro-optical systems is desired.
· Experience with embedded, micro-display technologies a strong plus.
· At least 3+ years of Weapon systems development experience.
· Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
