| Job Description | Pennex Aluminum Company is a leader in the Aluminum manufacturing industry for over 30 years. Pennex is currently accepting applications for full time maintenance technicians. Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following requirements of the job:
The Maintenance Technician will:
•Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and preventative maintenance (PM) large industrial machinery, equipment, gas-fired furnaces and electrical systems.
•Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery; maintain related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
•Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair machine parts and tools; operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
•Able to test and troubleshoot production equipment’s operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.

Requirements
•Min. 3 years electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics work exp.
•Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Vocational or technical training preferred.
•Three or more years of related experience and/or training specific to Allen-Bradley PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controller ) preferred.
•Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
•This is a primarily night shift position, 2nd shift 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM or 3rd shift 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
