Job Description | Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the contract approval process with USG Contracting Officers including those at BARDA and DoD.
Manage the funding of the individual contract line item numbers (CLINS) as it relates to the authorization approvals (COAs) from the Contracting Officers.
Partner with Contracts Management and Technical teams to identify, prepare and submit requests for approval.
Partner with Accounting to properly record and analyze vendor invoices against COAs.
Manage contract modifications to the prime USG contract ensuring documents are prepared timely and accurately.
Ensure Elusys compliance to FAR (financial) clauses and corresponding records maintained to support compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and or Finance
CPA and/or MBA preferred; biotech experience a plus
8+ years experience at a mid-manager level
Familiar with government contracting process; FAR clauses; EVM
Must be comfortable working in a small, fast paced, dynamic environment
Requires excellent communications skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact effectively with senior technical and management personnel
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational and time management skills
Self starter who can work independently with little supervision - strong problem solving skills |
