Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing engineering functions, including process development and support, product introduction, manufacturing project management on projects up to $5M, development of strategic plans, as well as general manufacturing support and team participation. These activities and responsibilities will vary depending on the location, current improvement activities and process expertise (machining, fabrication, assembly, etc.). This individual will work closely with other manufacturing functions such as production control, quality engineering, purchasing, safety and environmental and manufacturing management to develop and implement solutions consistent with the goals of the Company. This position reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering.


Qualifications:
Four year engineering degree and five years' experience, or a two year degree with ten years experience, or with no degree fifteen years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or no degree with ten years' experience. Technical skills may require , CNC Programming, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), time studies/process standards, process capability theory and statistical process control (SPC). Experience working in an assembly environment, good problem solving and analytical skills, project management, and lean manufacturing experience required. Must have good communication, computer, and organizational skills. Electronics knowledge helpful.
