Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide engineering support for the operational issues pertaining to the production of Keurig’s Products. This individual ensures all equipment and supporting systems operate to their maximum effectiveness, within specified safety and cost constraints, and that all products are of the desired quality; performs evaluations and analysis of process related to issues of intermediate complexity in electronic systems and assemblies; determines and implements corrective actions to improve processes; performs work of high complexity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization

Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification

Reviews current and creates new documentation; develops Engineering change Orders (ECO) as required.

Expand and implement concepts, including Lean Manufacturing, etc., to reduce manufacturing cost and increase process throughput; evaluate new materials and supplies in use based on project scope Contact vendors with requests for quotes and delivery information

Ensure compliance to design contract specification and schedule

Applies manufacturing principles and practices to specific processes

Complete special projects as assigned

Take initiative to work with other internal departments to identify cross-functional solutions and make recommendations for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 12+ years of related experience.

Ability to travel overseas when needed/valid passport

Strong quantitative and analytic skills; capable of translating findings into business actions

Requires Project management skills, a logical approach to problem solving, analytical skills and a big-picture understanding with short term tactical focus.

Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional peers, upper level management.

Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our business best practices.

Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic teaming environment, be punctual, and follow instructions.

Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures.
