Job Description | Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls; support manufacturing launch for new or revised composite products; support standardization efforts between different sites.
Work with Process Engineers at sites to support process development and improvement.
Prepare, review, and maintain work instructions.
Contribute to TPI’s global standardization efforts.
Support manufacturing launch of new/revised products including customer requirement reviews, process development, process trials, and equipment developments.
Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Design, develop, test, and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods. Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of machinery and equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
B.S. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or similar required.
Minimum 5 years related experience required (wind blade composite manufacturing process).
Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Ability to travel up to 50%
