Pitney Bowes Business Insight Seeks a Senior Product ManagerPitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI) the software division of Pitney Bowes Inc. is engaged in a repositioning and transformation to strategically align itself to the global Customer Communications Management market focused on the government, telecommunications, banking and financial services vertical markets. As part of this transformation PBBI has established four new lines of business Customer Data and Location Intelligence, Communication Management, Customer Analytics and Intelligence and Digital CementThis role is within the Customer Communications Management Line of Business. The Line of Business (LoB) is a new team and is seeking a strong competitive analyst to establish this new function within the business.
For further information about our products and services, please visit www.pbinsight.com.Pitney Bowes Business Insight is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to help us extend our lead in the Customer Communications Management (CCM) market. We are looking for an individual to drive innovation and integration within and between our software product lines.
Reporting to the a Global Portfolio Director within the Line of Business, this role will be critical in supporting the product roadmap that defines the Communications Management approach to innovation and integration, including analytics and mobile channel. He/She will be responsible for contributing concepts to our innovation pipeline, assessing their feasibility and leading a cross functional team to deliver them into market. In addition, this person will also liaise with counterparts within Pitney Bowes Business Insight and across Pitney Bowes to keep apprised of their plans and look for opportunities to work together.
The successful candidate will be able to provide thought leadership, creativity, have well developed product management skills, strong process acumen, customer focus and a passion for all things relative to communications management. This is a great opportunity to shape the future direction of our products, while working in close partnership with all teams required to launch new products and capabilities. This position can work out of any of our larger US offices (i.e. Boulder, CO, Stamford CT, Troy NY or Lanham MD) or remotely from a home office. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required, MBA strongly preferred
Minimum of 10 Years of Product Management experience in the enterprise software industry
Industry experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: mobile, digital, analytics, customer communication management.
Strong understanding of the enterprise software market, purchase cycles and decision processes
Can simultaneously drive multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
Desire to drive development of innovative and transformational solutions.
Focus on the latest trends and emerging technologies.
Must be able to think big picture but execute at the tactical level.
Superb collaboration, influencing and communication skills are a must.
Comfort working with all types - marketers, tech developers, designers and others- in a highly matrixed environment..
Demonstrated success developing software product strategies via partners or channels
This position requires up to 30% domestic and potentially international travel
Preferred Qualifications:
SaaS experience a plus
Passion for analyzing products, companies and markets
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Outstanding presentation skills
Strong analytical and technical skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross functional teams
