The (Senior) Product Manager (S/PM) will be responsible for the strategic development and tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to build brand awareness and contribute to achievement of HALAVEN business objectives. In particular, to build and execute plans to expand the appropriate use of HALAVEN in oncology clinics and hospitals.

This experienced marketer’s role will initially focus on, but not be limited to, (1) Strategic development of brand plans including long-range (5 year) plan, message strategy, and core campaign; (2) Tactical development to support brand strategies including promotional material management and development; (3) gaining insights from key customers – both HCPs and institutions – and competitors, and converting the insights into actionable plans; and (4) leadership of internal teams and task forces.

This person will be instrumental in providing marketing input into market research, CRC (Copy Review Committee) reviews, and sales training. Strong analytical and communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to lead in a complex environment are required. The successful candidate must also have an understanding of Pharma and Regulatory/Legal guidelines for healthcare provider interactions to ensure programs adhere to outlined Compliance guidelines for Eisai. The candidate will also have a results-oriented focus and have experience in developing promotional materials for healthcare providers. Knowledge of the oncology therapeutics arena and marketplace is desired. Travel is estimated at 15-25% of time, including weekend travel

Job Qualifications Must Know:

• Grounded in the fundamentals of marketing

• Proven experience leading and executing advertising and promotions functions (sales & educational tools, POA planning, convention planning, vendor management, LMR process, etc)

• Experience in breast cancer, including knowledge of competition, organizations and KOLs is required

• Understanding of market research

• Experience working with sales management and sales training

• Experience working with at least several of the following cross-functional departments: forecasting, supply chain, trade, managed markets, reimbursement/contracting, Medical Affairs functions, advocacy, corporate affairs, public relations, etc.

• Able to hold others accountable for results (internal team, vendors, agencies)

• Basic understanding of forecasting and P&L management.

• Strategic thinker

Experience:

- BS degree required

- Breast cancer marketing experience required

- 4 years experience in oncology pharmaceutical sales / marketing
(minimum of 2 years in oncology marketing)

- Experience working with and directing agencies and strategic vendors

- Proven track record demonstrating positive program ROI while working within budget

- Experience working with patient advocacy and / or cooperative groups

- Ability to collaborate across multiple functional groups
