Senior Product Manager - Professional Medical Education (CNS)

Job Description
Description: This is a newly created position supporting the CNS Marketing team in a new product launch in 2012.The individual selected for this position will be responsible for driving professional promotional medical education for a variety of targeted health care providers. Primary responsibilities will include building and integrating a customer target plan, message platform, content and communication mediums, and the overall strategic approach for professional Med Ed. In addition, will lead the development of innovative engagement programs for effective peer-to-peer interactions; standardize and improve speaker engagement/experience to enhance program quality; and manage the promotional medical education agency activities, budget and deliverables. This position will report to the Director, US Launch Lead.


Qualifications: Minimum 5years of pharmaceutical marketing, sales and/or sales training experience is required. Has demonstrated business acumen and the ability to drive results in managing projects. Launch experience either through newly marketed products or new indications preferred. Prior experience in mental health is preferred, but not mandatory.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Professional Promotional Medical Education for new product launch, including but not limited to the:

o Development and execution of education programs/ unbranded communications to physicians and other healthcare providers (pre-launch)

o Development and execution of branded peer-to-peer programs and communications to physicians and other healthcare providers (launch)

o Identification and mobilization of speakers (Speaker Contracts)

o Speaker Training and Speaker Resources Development

o Manage promo med agency to ensure deliverables are aligned to brand strategy.

• Responsible for the planning and execution of the National Speaker launch meeting and subsequent training

• Implementation of Ad Boards in coordination with KOL/Stakeholder engagement PBS point.

• Consistently monitor project budgets and expenses

• Assist in the communication of marketing plans to senior management

• Share responsibility in POA planning with marketing point(s)


Required:

BA/BS Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical marketing, sales and/or sales training experience required.
This position requires the ability to effectively engage, obtain input from, and align with multiple functional area stakeholders including Brand team, Medical affairs, Sales/Sales operations, Global Marketing/Medical/Clinical teams, LMR review teams, and OPC-J members (GPCs)
Critical success factors for this role include clearly communicating strategy and ideas, both verbally, and written; ability to develop and execute high impact marketing materials and projects managing the PRC (LMR) submission and approval process; proficient management of agencies, transferring marketing objectives in to creative strategies and executions.
