| Job Description | Job Description Oil and Gas Operator seeking experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join their staff in Houston, TX to support significant FPSO project.
Functional responsibilities
? Assume technical authority and direction to rotating equipment packages
? Responsible for interdisciplinary design verification and quality control
? Ensure sharing and implementation of standards and guidelines
? Identify and propose key technologies and applications thereof, and support their development and implementation
? Ensure development of detailed engineering and maintenance specifications for equipment systems and packages in all phases of the project
? Manage and direct contractors during their design and execution to comply with organizational requirements
Qualifications
? MSc, BE, or PhD in applicable discipline with 8+ years of up-to-date experience from oil and gas upstream industry projects including significant offshore experience
? FPSO or similar deep water production projects experience preferred
? Experience in rotating equipment engineering and operations for offshore production
? Competent interdisciplinary team worker for front-end, engineering, construction, and commissioning phases
? Experienced in managing international contractors, focusing on quality output and timely delivery
