Responsibilities:
Spectroscopic analysis and interpretation (e.g. UV-VIS, Fluorescence, HPLC, NMR)
Synthesis and characterization of small molecules.
S/he will quickly develop competencies in additional techniques.
These skills, together with knowledge in synthetic chemistry and bioconjugation methods, will be utilized in the solving of applied technical problems.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in organic chemistry (0-5 years industrial experience) with excellent knowledge of chemistry, bioconjugation, surface immobilization, and heterobifunctional chemistry.
Hands-on attitude and an innovative approach to problem solving.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams are essential.
Creative and energetic chemist who can work in a multidisciplinary environment using chemical approaches to design and develop chemistry and conjugation methods.
Knowledge of labeling techniques is highly desirable
Peptide chemistry experience is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills will complete the profile. |
