RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Loss Control Consultant will provide loss control technical assistance and written evaluations to underwriting for the selection of new and renewal commercial, multi-line business. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and identifies injury & accident trends to assist underwriters and insured management in making business decisions. Consistently presents clients with the business benefits of loss control & risk management measures. You will provide ongoing technical support to policyholders, producers, and other customers to comply with safety and health regulations, and make recommendations that will reduce losses and solve business problems.



The successful candidate will work as a business consultant for both small & large policyholders, sharing knowledge and experience to effect positive change in many types of businesses. The consultant will work with our agents and policyholders to improve safety & health conditions, and will make recommendations & develop service plans to protect the life and property of our policyholders. The consultant's knowledge of the individual client is shared with our underwriters and senior management to assist them in making positive business decisions for The Hartford.
