| Job Description | Summary of Primary Responsibilities Develop/implement/maintain/monitor enterprise information security systems including: firewalls, IDS, IPS, Vulnerability Scanning, Proxy, SIM, and system hardening. Lead project teams to implement technical controls that sufficiently mitigate risk to SPR computing systems and data. Lead certification and accreditation efforts of SPR major applications and general support systems to ensure the continuous effective mitigation of risk to critical SPR systems and data. Review proposed changes to the SPR information system environment via configuration and change management processes and perform risk analyses to ensure that all associated risk is sufficiently mitigated. Respond to information system outages and security incidents.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five years experience with complex computing environments; Three years dealing specifically with information system security. Advanced technical knowledge of information systems and cyber security systems is required. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES At least one advanced information technology certification is required. Information Security certifications such as SANS and ISC2 certifications are preferred. |
