| Job Description | Overview:
HNTB Corporation is looking to hire a Sr. Electrical Engineer in their Wayne, NJ office. The right candidate will have the ability to perform the following duties and responsibilities: Design and inspection of electrical power and control systems for heavy movable bridge structures (drawbridges). The ability to manage entire bridge design projects is critical. These projects offer exposure to a variety of electrical technologies as well as a balance between office and field work.
Responsibilities:
Perform design calculations.
Quantity estimates.
Detailing.
Check calculations and drawings.
Perform specific short term design applications.
Organize scheduling of specific tasks and assignments.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering
15+ years of electrical engineering experience in the transportation infrastructure arena
10+ years of Project Management and Execution
The ability to manage and mentor a group of junior engineers |
