Position Overview:

The Sr. Finance Analyst will be the responsible for the financial modeling, analysis, budgeting and metric reporting for all Authentidate business units and providing support for financial reporting. Efforts include improving processes, project management and communication with business unit heads. This individual will report to the CFO, but will work heavily with the rest of the Leadership and finance and accounting teams regarding a variety of financial and corporate matters.

General Responsibilities:

Define, analyze and solve complex business problems across multiple functions using tools such as scenario analysis, breakeven analysis or other tools necessary to facilitate management decision making

Prepare detailed business unit models that will be used to forecast the business and communicate with investors

Create income statements and forecasts for the company’s product lines

Preparation of high level reporting including developing dashboards which will provide the Senior Management critical information necessary to make decisions

Assist CEO and CFO in developing management presentations to Board of Directors and Investors

Assist in analyzing new business opportunities, including acquisitions using basic valuation analysis

Support monthly billing process by preparing underlying data reports

Support preparation of SEC documents

Manage reporting for stock options awards including fair value calculation

Manage and calculate sales commissions

Perform ROI/cost-benefit analyses for customer projects

Prepare ad hoc analyses and complete special projects

Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree with focus in Finance/Accounting, MBA preferred but not mandatory

Must be highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Access experience preferred

Superior financial modeling skills & Basic knowledge of statistics (regression, trend analysis)

Solid analytical skills and understanding of basic financial principles relating to project management (e.g. cash flow, expense capitalization, net present value)

Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

Attention to detail and accuracy

Startup environment experience preferable.

(Working) knowledge of SEC reporting/US (GAAP)
