Process design, development, and implementation globally
Write equipment specifications that satisfy design, quality, ergonomic, and production requirements, OA, FTTQ
Customer interface and PFMEA ownership
Manage projects to ensure quality, time, & cost requirements
Coordinate process changes globally
Provide technical support globally for solving machining issues
Cost estimating for new processes as well as purchased parts
Make versus buy analysis
Estimate equipment costs rqd for new models and re-tooling
Willing to travel domestic and international
Develop and execute strategic plans that ensure reliable production and delivery of high quality products at the lowest cost
Position Requirements REQUIRED:
Previous precision machining experience
In depth understanding of GD&T, measurement systems, ability to read CMM programs
Ability to interpret and write CNC code
Experience in work holding & cutting tools to meet precise tolerances
Computer competency (MS excel, word, power point, project)
High level of analytical skills
High level of interpersonal skills
Good written and oral skills
PREFERRED:
Previous compressor machining, assembly or design experience
Previous Auto industry experience
Trained in or experience with statistical tools and problem
Experience using the APQP tools (PFMEA, PFD, PCP)
Educational Requirements REQUIRED: Four year technical degree in engineering or engineering technology
