Description and Desired Qualifications
Sr. Process Engineer - Bellingham, WA
The challenge? Helping ensure the world's supply of energy and chemicals. At CH2M HILL, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the energy and chemicals industry. Sr. Process Engineer position will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting small and mid scale energy and chemical projects in our Bellingham office. Each day you will be an important team member as you participate in the design, coordination, and process engineering, detail oriented professional with 5 or more years of experience in civil structural design work for the energy and chemical sectors.
Our Sr. Process Engineer:
Participate as part of a process design team on various projects
Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices.
Assist with planning and sequencing of process deliverables.
Execute process tasks within Budget and Schedule.
Participate in meetings with the client and project team to establish project objectives and to coordinate and/or resolve design issues.
Complete process engineering studies, reports and calculations.
Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs.
Generate process equipment data sheets and specifications.
Generate technical bid tabs to confirm vendor quotations meet technical requirements.
Review of vendor submittal drawings and documents.
Check process deliverables, prior to formal issue.
Will work under the direction of a Principal level Process Discipline Lead Engineer, however, continuous supervision must not be

Basic Qualifications
BS Degree in Chemical Engineering.
7 to 15 years experience in engineering Design"" of capital projects in Refining, Oil/Gas,
Specialty Chemicals, Polymers, and/or Pharmaceutical facilities. Professional Engineer Registration desired, but not mandatory.
Require a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal communications.

Willingness for occasional travel.
Experience in Hyrdrocracking or hydroprocessing, Acid Gas Treating
or SRU, Bottoms upgrading in a refining setting or engineering practice a strong plus.

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
