Sr. Product Manager, Teriflunomide
Job Description: This individual will support marketing strategies by implementing Medical Education tactics for Teriflunomide. This position will interface with various Medical support, medical education and field teams. The focus is to build, align, and disseminate key messages through Medical Education initiatives. The individual will also work collaboratively with the other brand team members of the Teriflunomide Marketing Team.
Execute Medical Education and Market Development brand strategies and tactics in order to successfully launch Teriflunomide in the U.S.
Implement and execute multi-year convention strategy for MS in alliance with global and affiliate partners.
Key brand interface with internal US Convention planning teams. Liaise with global convention colleagues as needed.
Lead KTL mapping and segmentation. Establish and implement KTL Advisory Council, Steering Committee and Regional Advisory Boards.
Maintain brand interface with Medical and associated Medical support teams (Publications, IME, Field).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, as well as the many cross-functional teams that support the brands.
Transform highly complex information about the healthcare business environment into actionable intelligence resulting in a sustainable competitive advantage for brand.
Manage vendors/agencies as needed to develop and execute tactical programs.
Ensure timely legal, regulatory, and medical review of promotional medical education content
Assess potential market opportunities while developing a marketing plan on how to potentially maximize and leverage those opportunities.
*Please note position may be located in Bridgewater NJ or Cambridge MA*
Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
2+ years Current marketing Product Manager experience required (specific Medical Education/Market Development experience preferred)
At least 5-7 years of pharmaceutical experience including both sales and marketing, MS therapeutic category experience a must
Ability to proactively analyze business and market opportunities, identify key issues, and develop/implement a solution to either maximize a market opportunity or resolve business issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; candidate must have demonstrated the ability to build consensus in a matrix environment and lead through others
