Our Emerging Equipment business builds upon our extensive experience in providing production-proven process manufacturing and inspection equipment for the photovoltaic industry as well as wafer handling platforms for the semiconductor industry.

Job Description

Intevac develops revolutionary Photonics products that address large commercial and military markets. Our Photonics products are high-speed electro-optical devices that detect light with extraordinary sensitivity. The Company also produces sophisticated manufacturing equipment used in the manufacture of high technology products. This position manages all aspects of the development and production of Government contract program. Responsible for the technical and management execution of all tasks as specified in the customer Statement of Work (SOW) and/or Program Plan. Serves as the primary interface between the customer and Intevac on all program-specific issues. Generates Program Integrated Master Schedule using Microsoft Project. Monitors, directs and performs day-to-day activities of the assigned program to ensure that goals and objectives are being met, including schedule, cost and technical performance, and subcontractor management. Conducts and leads internal meetings and customer meetings, including weekly telecoms, monthly/quarterly program reviews, design reviews, and Tiger Team meetings. Generates periodic reports as required by the program. Takes appropriate corrective action in response to program deficiencies. Generates proposals to address program requirements, overruns, or changes in scope.

10.Proficient with standard Microsoft tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook and Excel.

Preferred Skills:
1.Experience working on DoD products;
2.Experience in product development from concept to production;
3.Understanding of electro-optics and night vision products;

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 7 years of related work experience;
2.PMP certification preferred;
3.Must hold a green card or be a U.S. citizen;
4.DoD clearance or qualified for security clearance with special access requirements is preferred;
